Casa Designers – Project Terms & Execution Policy Agreement

At Casa Designers, we are committed to delivering spaces that reflect your vision with precision and care. To ensure a smooth, transparent, and professionally managed project experience, please read the following terms carefully before engaging our services.

By signing this agreement or making an advance payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined below.

1. Design Freeze & Approval

All design elements must be reviewed and formally approved by the client before execution begins. This includes all drawings, materials, finishes, colour palettes, and specifications.

- Execution commences only after written approval of the complete design package.

- This approval constitutes the "Design Freeze" and forms the binding basis for all work that follows.

- Changes requested after the Design Freeze will be treated as additional scope, charged separately, and may affect the project timeline.

> We encourage clients to raise all questions and request revisions before signing off. Once the Design Freeze is confirmed, the project enters execution phase.

2. Design Changes & Revisions

Revisions requested after final design approval are considered additional work and will be billed separately. This includes:

- Changes to drawings, floor plans, layouts, or measurements

- Material, finish, or colour substitutions post-approval

- Alterations to electrical point placements or execution details

- Additional 3D renders beyond the agreed scope

- Revised or repeated design presentations after final sign-off

Each revision will be individually quoted and must be approved in writing before work proceeds.

3. Client-Requested Changes During Execution

Any changes requested after materials have been ordered or work has commenced are entirely the client's responsibility, including:

- Dismantling and rework of completed or in-progress work

- Material wastage due to substitutions or scope changes

- Redesigning of approved elements

- Delays caused by indecision, late approvals, or mid-execution change requests

- Additional labour costs from rework or out-of-sequence work

All associated costs will be charged at actuals, and a revised timeline will be communicated accordingly.

4. Scope of Work

Execution is strictly limited to:

1. The final approved quotation, and

2. The approved drawings and design package

Any additions, upgrades, or work not covered in the quotation will be treated as extra scope and must be approved via a written variation order before execution. Verbal or informal instructions will not be accepted as approval for out-of-scope work.

5. Material & Brand Policy

- Clients may select from high-end/premium brands or local/economy alternatives based on their budget.

- Pricing varies based on brand, grade, and material availability.

- Finalized materials cannot be changed once ordered. Any change post-ordering will attract wastage and rework charges.

- Casa Designers is not responsible for future matching in cases where a brand discontinues a material or finish.

6. 3D Render Disclaimer

- All 3D renders and visualizations are for reference and representation purposes only.

- DΓ©cor items, loose furniture, accent lighting, curtains, wallpapers, and styling accessories are excluded from the scope unless explicitly mentioned in the quotation.

- Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish between renders and actual execution are natural and not considered defects.

7. Home Styling & Photoshoot Policy

- Professional home styling is a chargeable service. Consultation fees vary depending on project scope.

- Casa Designers reserves the right to conduct a professional photoshoot of completed projects for portfolio and promotional use, while fully maintaining client privacy.

- Clients who provide a review and permit a project photoshoot may receive complimentary basic styling support and a token gift from Casa Designers, at our discretion.

8. Laminate & Finish Policy

- Installed laminates, acrylics, veneers, or stone surfaces will not be replaced after installation.

- Only manufacturing defects confirmed in writing by the brand are eligible for replacement.

- Natural shade variations, grain patterns, and texture differences are not considered defects and will not be grounds for replacement or rework.

9. Timeline

- A project timeline will be shared and agreed upon before execution begins.

- The following factors will automatically extend the project timeline:

- Client-requested changes or delayed approvals

- Site-related issues or restricted access

- Payment delays

- Material procurement delays or supply chain issues

Casa Designers will not be held liable for timeline extensions caused by any of the above factors.

10. Payment Terms & Schedule

Payments must follow the agreed schedule as outlined below:

| Booking & Project Initiation | 50% advance |

| Mid-Execution (before major production & site work continues) | 40% |

| Final Handover & Installation Completion | Remaining 10% |

- Work may be paused in the event of payment delays.

- Final handover and installation will only be completed after full payment clearance.

- All payments must be made as per the schedule unless a revised arrangement is agreed upon in writing.

11. Working Hours & Holidays

- Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

- Weekly holiday: Tuesday

- Festival holidays or emergency leave may proportionately extend the project timeline.

- Any work required outside standard hours must be discussed and agreed upon separately.

12. Site Conditions

- The client is responsible for providing electricity, water, and uninterrupted site access throughout the execution phase.

- Casa Designers is not responsible for damages or defects caused by other vendors, contractors, or parties working on-site concurrently.

13. Accidental Damage

Any accidental damage to common areas, lifts, staircases, building facades, or adjacent areas caused during the course of work will be borne entirely by the client. Casa Designers will communicate such incidents promptly and transparently.

14. Warranty & After-Sales Service

- A one-year warranty is provided for installation defects from the date of handover.

- Service visit charges and replacement material costs are borne by the client.

- Acrylic finishes carry no warranty from Casa Designers.

- The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, negligence, seepage, or wear and tear.

15. Replacement Policy

Replacement is applicable only for confirmed manufacturing defects. The following are explicitly excluded:

- Scratches, dents, or surface marks post-installation

- Damage due to seepage, moisture, or water logging

- Misuse or improper handling

- General wear and tear over time

16. Cancellation Policy

- Design fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

- If the project is cancelled after material ordering, the client is liable to pay for:

- All materials ordered or in production

- All work executed up to the point of cancellation

- A final settlement invoice will be issued within 7 working days of cancellation notice.
